The Atlas focuses on the time period a er 1989 when religion in Czechia received freedom again. The first part attends to selected Churches, religious communities and groups of believers, their history, demography and geography.
The second part focuses on diff erences in the religious landscape ofselected model areas. The last part of the Atlas puts religion into context with the demographical and socio-economical characteristics of society.
All parts and chapters therefore describe religiosity of Czech society in its diversity and refl ect the results of developmental trends and processes which have infl uenced and continue to infl uence the Czech religious climate.
