Abstract
This paper aims to present early stage and prose writers' creation of writer Jan Prochazka, whose aesthetic and thematic anchor can be described as a late phase of the so-called. Socialist Realism.
Contribution based on motivic analysis presents key elements mentioned creation, in particular with regard to the attributes of individual heroic types, the venue chosen for narrative and sub-plots that can be understood in connection with a certain dimension of ambiguity as a manifestation of a similar trend in the ideological background mode Antonin Novotny's era.
