Borders crossing: Interdisciplinarity, migration and mobility in history of art and related sciences

Abstract

A conference of post-gradual students and doctoral candidates organized by students of 2nd year of doctoral degree at the Institute for Art History, Faculty of arts, Charles University, aimed at raising discussions on an up-to-date as well as timeless topic of migration and mobility. In four sections named "Frontiers of a space: cultural and geopolitical borders", "Borders of a vision: ways of interpretation", "Interdisciplinary bridges: overlapping specializations" and "Penetrability of medias and borders of art disciplines" the conference presented junctures of research on fields of ethnology, aesthetics, archaeology, audiovisual studies and art historical research.

After the first conference day dr. Agnes Callu presented a lecture "For a quali/quantitative History of Art".
