This study aims to determine the extent to which the current educational programme of Czech grammar school system is influenced by fundamental principles of liberal-democratic ideology and thus is able to form a pluralistic worldview attitudes of students. Taking this research project into account, the study applies the discursive analysis of key competencies within "RVP" which is able to identify the main incoherencies of this conception and reveal one-sided interpretation of liberal and democratic values.
However, this identification of all these questionable principles serves as a starting point to present an alternative approach, whose more pluralist interpretation of liberal and democratic values is proved by the analysis of the particular worksheet.
