Transient hyperphosphatasemia: a benign laboratory disorder in a boy with Gitelman syndrome

Abstract

Transient hyperphosphatasemia of infancy and early childhood is characterized by transiently increased aktivity of serum alkaline phosphatase. There are no signs of metabolic bone disease or hepatophathy.

THI is benign disorder, which is usually accidentally detected. Case report presents THI in a boy with Gitelman syndrome and accidentally detected hyperphosphatasemia during periode check-up.
