Modern information technologies allow relatively detailed mapping of provided urological surgical care. This enables the urological society and other institutions better organisation of urological care in the Czech Republic.
The most frequent surgical procedures in urology are ureteroscopies, TURBT and TURP. The reported numbers present clearly the considerable limitations in collection of data.
E.g. in laparoscopy and robotic surgery (absence of signal DRG codes). Refining of entering and processing of data are common interest to urologist and their clients/patients.
