The report analysis the financial incentive for employment between low-income households that move between welfare support and low income employment. It is based on qualitative research - interviews with welfare recipients and administrators of the welfare system.
It points to the centrality of the changes on the labour market on the the situation of low-income households, particularly due to precarisation of the accessible employment. It analyses its consequent impact on financial incentive for employment which might be shaped very differently from the theoretical models of employment incentives (used in previous analysis).
