This short chapter will briefly discuss the potential of pre-visualization software for the rapid development of in-game cinematics as required for the design of quick-production time documentaries and newsgames (serious games). Specifically, design issues related to the multimedia work of students in the frames of academic coursework will be presented.
Further, sample animations designed in the rapid 3-D animation tool Moviestorm for academic coursework and which reflects on the cultural history of Prague in the 1990s will be discussed and visually presented.
