Abstract
Following an information on the anatomical and physiologic background, an overview of MRI findings in Hoffa's fat pad of the knee is presented in correlation with the review of literature and the relevance of anatomical variants as possible predisposing factors in the development of pathologic conditions and their clinical penetration is further studied.
