The Story of Two Annas and One Jana: The Beginning and the End of the Marginalized Community Miracle?

Abstract

This paper reflects on the success of (Christian) community work in a marginalized Roma settlement and shares doubts about its sustainability. Basic questions of community work are discussed: its purpose, legitimacy and effect, "the good" introduced by community workers etc.
