Abstract
This chapter focuses on analyses of foreign news of the Czech media in 2014. It reveals key characteristics of foreign news on three Czech televisions (main actors, topics and destinations) and presents results of a qualitative analysis of media coverage of two important events of Czech foreign policy in the print media - the visit of the Czech president in China and EU sanctions against Russia.
