There are many possible ways how to bring students to science and teaching relevant topics in everyday context is the key one. It has been also shown that practical courses and project based learning can be motivational.

Therefore, a practical course based on forensic biology was proposed and tested. The participants gave their feedback.

The respondents were upper secondary school and university students and biology teachers. The practical tasks were evaluated positively, the respondents found them interesting.

The teachers evaluated some tasks significantly better compared to the students.
