Abstract

According to the recent statistics of the UN Commissioner for Refugees in 2015, there was an enormous number of over 60 million refugees in the whole world. The migration crises reached, of course, also Europe and provoked violent and frequently emotional debates on the purpose and effectivity of migration regulation, even in those countries hardly influenced by refugee influx, such as the Czech Republic.

Legal aspects of migration, especially illegal migration and its legal regulation have been often missing in these debates. The aim of this monograph is therefore to focus on the legal aspect of migration at international, EU and national level through the eyes of Czech legal experts in EU law, administrative and criminal law
