Abstract
The German versatility competition of the school teams, "Jugend trainiert fur Olympia", organized by German foundation for the school sport is the biggest sports contest in the world. The presented article outlines the conditions and structure of the competition.
From nineteen sports events in which the school children recently compete, we focus on the track and field events.
