Since incontinence is mainly due to gravity, but the most clinically clinical examinations and rehabilitation procedures are mostly performed on lying down, we have focused on comparing pelvic floor muscles in different positions. 10 women aged 25 to 47, with different births, were measured. To measure the functional state of the pelvic floor muscles, we used vaginal pressure probes with the GYMNA MYO 200.
The maximum contraction and endurance at this level, repeated maximum contraction and release with the duration of each phase of five seconds and one second, and a spontaneous coughing response - the muscles of the controlled (loose) and reflective muscles. Statistical testing of the situation in the leu and standing showed a high correlation for both tonic and phasic muscles in all situations.
Our study has shown that the change in the position of the lumbago induces changes in basal pressure values that maintain the same tendency. Unlike the amplitudes, where the increase in phase stress induced by free contraction was not confirmed for the changed position of the body.
