Abstract

The recent waves of migration have revealed several critical dimensions related to every-day political decision-making process. First of all, it attracted significant political attention and the rise of awareness but also measures of national and state protection, subsequent political populism and securitization.

In this paper we aim to develop the new trends of modern policy-making related to the features and dimension of massive migration to EU and its member states which ultimately have major impact over national political environments. From this reason, we try to capture the main domains related to migration and political agenda, the political response to migration crisis and the steps for possible problem solutions.

The paper is based on the qualitative secondary analysis with the theory overview to provide the comparative and interpretative data collection.
