Abstract
Another reason for this shortage is the fact that the working conditions of many nurses around the globe are very often less than optimal. Human, individual, complex and high quality nursing takes time, but nurses report heavy workload regarding the number of patients they care for in one shift, the health conditions of their patients are often more serious than in the past, the administrative nursing tasks are multiplying, as are the new procedures and duties of nurses.
