Abstract
In the present invention, there is disclosed a substituted tetrazole of the general formula I, in which R is selected from the group consisting of: H, an alkyl group containing 1 to 11 carbon atoms, phenyl or phenyl substituted in positions 2, 3, 4 a 5 with one or more electron acceptor groups, and/or one or more electron donor groups. These compounds can be produced using simple syntheses and are characterized by low toxicity and high activity against mycobakteria including multiresistant strains thereof.
The invention also discloses a pharmaceutical composition containing as an active substance the substituted phenyltetrazole of the general formula I, as well as the use of this substituted phenyltetrazole as antituberculous agent.
