Abstract
In the introduction, the textbook gives an explanation of the concept, nature and sources of Commercial Law. It deals with the status of entrepreneurs and institutions which relate to the entrepreneur and his business.
The textbook explains the specifics of the status of entrepreneurs in private-law and deals with the obligations arising from contracts in which the entrepreneur typically takes part. At the same time, it also focuses on Public Law, particularly on the Trade and Registration Act, Accounting Law and the Law on the Protection of Competition.
Furthermore, it deals with the rights to intangible assets. The textbook also focus on entrepreneurial bankruptcy, its consequences and possible solutions.
The final section of the textbook explains the consequences of a breach of an entrepreneur's private-law obligations, which consist of the liability for damages and for delay, and outlines the administrative and criminal responsibility of entrepreneurs.
