Experience with training of the fitness coaches on the FTVS

Abstract

The aim of the research was to draw attention to the system of education of the fitness coaches at the FTVS UK and further find out the employability of the graduates of courses which offer training for fitness coaches in the framework of lifelong learning in the Czech Republic. The necessary information to achieve the objectives of the research were obtained by studying literature.

For the findings of the views was created by a non-standardised questionnaire, which was sent with a covering letter to graduates of the course lifelong learning personal and conditioning coach for the needs of sports clubs and athletic organizations. Subsequently, it was performed the evaluation of the questionnaires and the data obtained was interpreted using brief comments.

A questionnaire survey was attended by 22 out of 158 surveyed graduates of the course. Based on the findings it can be stated that graduates of the course find their application in coaching practice in the role of a fitness coach.

Participate in training, particularly in team sports (40,91 %). What concerns the quality of teaching would respondents welcomed the observation by the well-known fitness coaches.

From the point of view of the final goal of education is according the respondents the level of achievement of qualifications through the successful completion of the course in the context of lifelong learning is sufficient, although there appeared a significant requirement for the achievement of coaching qualifications through the Bc. study.
