Publication at Second Faculty of Medicine |
2016

Abstract

The role of exercise stress test in identifying individuals with inherited primary arrhythmia syndromes is increasing along with growing general awareness of these diseases, which are characterised by normal echocardiographic finding and frequently difficult resting electrocardiography (ECG) interpretation. Syncope and sudden cardiac death, in fact, may be the first manifestation of the illness.
