Abstract
The chapter of the university textbook on substantive criminal law deals with the importance of case-law in criminal law. In comparison to the text of the previous edition of the textbook it has been completely revised by new author who also points out the principles that in the same cases decision-making should be the same and in the different cases decision-making should be different, which aims for the fulfilment of the requirement of legal certainty.
