Abstract
Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) are generally considered to be multifactorial disease resulting from inadequate basis for activating mucosal immunity of the intestine in response to external noxu in genetically predisposed individuals. This inadequate immune response to contemporary medicine can be described fairly well, and today we are able to be largely influence - most modern drugs somehow suppresses or modifies the immune response in patients with IBD.
