Abstract
The review article summarizes the issues of plysensitized patients in relation to indication and administration of specific allergen immunotherapy. Questions which concern polysensitization versus polyallergy are mentioned, including diagnostic possibilities and pitfalls.
Further, suitability of indication of specific allergen immunotherapy in these patients is commented as well as advantages and disadvantages of use of vaccine mixtures or parallel single allergen vaccines. The topic is commented both from the point of view of current practical conditions and the future perspectives.
