Half century of experience with Far East fishes (Cyprinidae) introduced to the Czech Republic (Central Europe)

Abstrakt

In this contribution is described history of introductions of four Far East fishes to former Czechoslovakia (grass carp, silver carp, bighead carp, topmouth gudgeon). Their importance and influence to native fishes and ecosystems are discussed.
