Odonatofauna of the middle part of the Blanice River (the river basin Elbe River, length of 66 km, average flow rate near the river mouth is 2,25 m3 per second) in Central Bohemia was extensively observed for two decades (1996-2016). Altogether 19 species were permanently registered during the whole period in the five selected localities in investigated river section measuring about 30 km.
The quality of water ecosystem was documented also by long term monitoring of selected physical and chemical parameters.
