Publication at First Faculty of Medicine |
2016

Abstract

Urinary tract infections are the second leading type of infections after respiratory infections affecting particularly women. If they occur three and more times we classify them as recurrent.

These infections significantly worsen the quality of life of patients. Antibiotic therapy and regimen measures have limited options.

Other proven and effective method for the treatment of recurrent urinary infections is the immunostimulatory therapy.
