The risks of founding at the Kladno-Dříň site revealed during the geostatic survey with a low budget

Abstract
During common geostatic survey of the heavily cracked house in Kladno-Dříň, the connections of geotechnics and engineering geology in wider scale were considered. The object is situated on a slope, on the edge of Kladensko-rakovnická black coal basin.
On the basis of additional survey and monitoring activities it was possible to determine the probable primary cause of damages - the negative effect of water in rock mass slope, probably in combination with inappropriate construction concept of the object.
