An article summarizing several milestones of life and work of Prof. S.W.A.
Gunn, MD., mentioning his most important achievements, on the occasion of the Professor's 90th birthday. Prof.
Gunn is an important well-recognized WHO representative. Among others, he is author of several books and was bestowed of honorary doctorates of respected universities, including Charles University in Prague.
