Abstrakt
The chapter explores recent developments in the field of more-than-human social science, discusses how these developments have impacted on the ontological position of non-humans and what the changes to the theorization of non-humans mean for epistemology of contemporary social science. As an introductory chapter, it also presents in a concise way how the authors of individual chapters of the monograph answer to and exploit the developments in more-than-human social science.
