Abstract
The authors of the publication summarize illnesses that a dentist can come across with his/her patients. Despite the typical clinical symptoms of standard treatment, they are highlighting symptoms in the orofacial area, risks and complications that result from the primary diagnosis/therapy that influence the therapeutic approach.
In this revised publication the authors emphasize the recent evidence - based information, treatment options and pharmacology advance.
