Abstrakt
This chapter analyses the image of Atlantis in the short story "A Revolução" (Jardim das Tormentas, 1913) by Aquilino Ribeiro. A great attention is paid to the depicting of the myth of Atlantis at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries: the study defines some epochal literary commonplaces and shows the specific treats of Aquilino's text as well.
