Abstract
Treatment of haematological disorders includes a diverse array of clinical units; these are often diseases with a relatively low incidence and the necessity for a specific approach. The goal of this book is to present some modern drugs or new applications of already existing molecules in a clear and concise form.
It includes chapters about the basic pharmacological and immunological effects of these new drugs and specific chapters focused on the particular haematological disorders. The brief case reports documenting recent clinical experience with the specific drugs can be found as well.
The book is aimed at giving a basic overview to haematologists, internists, general practitioners and pharmacists, who are daily confronted with new information concerning treatment of haematological patients from various point of view - medical, pharmaceutical, economical or research.
