Abstract

Treatment of giant aneurysm is always complex, requiring a close cooperation between the interventional radiologist, neurosurgeon and neurointensivist and careful planning of each therapeutic step. Clipping, coiling with different techniques (stent assisted, pipeline endovascular device, flow diverter), extra-intracranial (EC-IC) bypass surgery and trapping may be used.

Three patients, successfully treated with endovascular approach combined with a low flow EC-IC bypass are reported.
