Publication at Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové |
2016

Abstract

Dentigerous cyst is a relatively common disease of the jaw bones. It appears most frequently in the region of lower third molars.

The treatment of this disease is almost exclusively surgical. The size of the lesion influences significantly the frequency of posttperative complications.

A sample of patients diagnosed with follicular cyst during the time period of 5 years (2008-2012) at the Department of Dentistry, Faculty of Medicine and University Hospital in Hradec Králové, was reviewed in this retrospective study.
