Abstract
Hiring of private security companies, which supplement (or replace) the municipal police activities become more frequent result of the decision of the municipal council the Czech Republic, often there, where municipality doesn't want to resign completely to its role in ensuring the local security and public order. Although critics of this procedure are uncountable, arguments made by representatives of the municipalities, that choose such path, are also significant.
