Private Security Services in the Context of Demographic Trends: Part II: the United States of America

Abstract

The paper is trying to describe the contents of several recent foreign studies, where the question of policing, the role of private security services and demographic trends in society are intersecting each other. Not always is possible to use these texts for the domestic situation in the Czech Republic, but it always can give some reflection for the local situation.

In this part of the mini-serial is attention paid to the situation in the United States of America.
