Abstract
The artice focuses on the known details of the arranged marriage of Elisabeth of Luxrmbourg (1390-1451), thze only daughter od duke Jphn of Görlitz , the grand daughter of Roman Emperor and King of Bohemia Charles IV, and her wedding with Anthony of Valois (1384-1415), Duke of Burgundy and Brabant, on July 16, 1409. The main soure of information was the Chronice of the noble dukes of Lorraine and Brabant nd kings of France written by Edmond Dynter (1370/80-1449), the court historiographer of uke of Burgundy, Philip he Good of Valois.
The chronicle describes the negotiation between the Brabant messengers and King Wenceslas IV and the bride's jooutney and the representative wedding ceremony.
