The Travelogue of the first Slovak cleric in Egypt - Ján Roháček (1910)

Abstract

Ján Roháček is a marginal character of the Slovak culture of the beginning of the 20th century. The value of his travelogue to Egypt and Holy Land lies in the information about the low-cost travelling of his era, and in the perception of the Near East by a Slovak cleric at the beginning of the 20th century.
