Abstract

The following publication informs the readers about the basic keywords of a general communication, which is a base for specified communication focused on the patients with an intensive care, particularly patients on a artificial breathing support. The first, general part presents a clear distribution of communication, factors defining the process of communication and general barriers in a nursing care.

Special part of the book is focused on specific communication strategies in intensive nursing care, as well as a basal stimulation as a form of communication. This book brings readers the complex manual of how to improve the communication with patients at a clinical care with the practical means, usable in difficult situations connected to the patients on a breathing support.
