Abstract
As an example of two "transit bridges" into Europe, this article examines development of the network of high-speed railroads in Czechia and the so-called New Silk Road project from China into Europe. These current event examples are useful in classroom instruction on transportation topics and instruction focusing on economic development or geopolitics.
