Abstract
The book deals with the categories of delictual (tortious) liability. It is a first complex analyse of this institute in Czech literature.
Based on comparative analyses it interprets the new Czech law in this field as has been codified in new Czech Civil Code. It covers the prerequisites of the liability, the categories of damage, fault, wrongfulness and causation.
It clarifies also relatively unknown categories as attribution pure economic loss, duty of care and in this context also a duty of prevention.
