This review examines Martin Myant and Jan Drahokoupil's book on the transition economies in the post-socialist states. It evaluates the book as an important read which enables us to understand the processes behind the growing capitalist diversity in the former Socialist Bloc as a result of its varied integration into the wold market after 1989.
