Abstract
The author in his article notes how the historical context became subject to Czech law, from the Golden Bull of Emperor Charles IV., over language law in 1615, the Austrian Constitutions, the language law from r. 1921 after the constitution of the Czech Republic. It concludes that the Czech Republic still does not have a language law that would establish the Czech language as their official language.
