Abstract

This article is the fouth part of the series focused on the life and works of Rabbi Moshe Hayim Luzzatto (1707 - 1746; has been known under the acronym RaMHaL), one of the greatest Jewish thinkers. This part brings the translation of second section (concerning God's Oneness and Unity) from Luzzatto's religious philosophical treatise Da'at tevunot (i.e.

Perceiving Knowledge; or Knowing the Understanding; usually translated as: Knowing Heart), which is written as a dialogue between soul and Reason.
