Abstract
A descriptive work occupies with miniinvasive surgical techniques and their use today. At Surgery clinic in pilsen University Hospital during a long time miniinvasive surgical technique represent 10% of the total number of surgeries.
During 10 years the spectrum operations has changed, the biggest increase is in colorectal surgery. Some centers carry out currently most surgeries, including acute, via miniinvasive technique.
We can safely say, that the miniinvasive technique is safe and widespread surgical method that brings to the patients many advantages.
