Education and Learning Programme at the Exhibition 'Castles and Chateaux: Rediscovered and Celebrated'
Abstract
An article reveals the process of preparation, delivery and evaluation of education and learning programme that became a part of unique exhibition project 'Castles and Chateaux: Rediscovered and Celebrated'. This unprecedently successful exhibition project was produced by Czech National Heritage Institute at the Prague Castle Riding School at the turn of the year 2014/2015.
The article presents various types of educational programmes prepared for school groups, teachers and family visitors. It also explores the numbers of school visits (e.g. regions, age groups) as well as the effectiveness of information campaign, or the issues of school visit organisation at the exhibition site.
Finally, the most important experience and recommendations are summerized i order to sustain the quality of future education and learning programming.
