Abstract
Introduction to the concepts and ideas of information literacy (infoliteracy) and open access at the Charles University, which may be moderately separated as topics but, at the same time, interconnected by numerous common characteristics. The envisaged concept of infoliteracy at the Charles University comprises four basic modules.
The topics of open access have their fixed places within the topics of infoliteracy.
