Jeffrey Beall is a librarian at the Auraria Library, University of colorado in Denver, CO, who maintains a database of so-called predatory journals. This article describes Beall's visit to Prague.
First part defines the term of predatory publishing, Beall's list of predatory journals and related problems. Next part describes the conference Parasitic Relations in Academic Publishing held by TheCzech Academy of Sciences.
