This catalogue describes 79 medieval Latin manuscripts from the National Library of the Czech Republic allocated to shelf mark sections I to XV which have been acquired since the publication of Josef Truhlář' catalogue (2 volumes in 1905 and 1906). Two of the codices were written in the 13th century, but the overall majority dates from the period from the 14th century to the first quarter of the 16th century.
Many of the manuscripts are of Bohemian origin. From the point of view of contents, the manuscripts include many of the types of texts which were common in the late Middle Ages.
